Honestly I'm thinking Gen X has it worse. I'm a millennial and sad I missed out on the 80s but at least got some of the 90s. Gen X saw everything at its peak and has lived through the entire decline. I saw Billy Idol recently and it was pretty heartwarming watching a bunch of Gen X dance to the music, remembering the old days I never knew.

Millennials will get to see the entire collapse while still strong enough to participate in the violence. That's a blessing.

>Gen X has it worse.
It's bitter sweet, I was born in 1968, I'm gen X. I think it's good we saw what good times were, they just missed our Generation, we know how good it can be, this is why I I'm in politics, the future is bright Lambright 2028. I'll bring back the good old days.

You were born inside the nightmare and so you don't even know what good is.

GenX were latch key kids and were cynical pretty much from the get-go. Millennials grew up after the USSR collapsed and thought everything was going to be bright and peaceful and shiny, then 9/11 happened and we were in a 20 year long war, two economic crises, a pandemic, and social media ruining everything while another gilded age settled over the land to see a rising Russia and China looming over the horizon trying to start shit. The degrees we were made to get because our parents told us they would help us get good jobs? Worthless. The housing market is so shit I moved back in with my boomer parents because rent is so goddamn expensive and I can't justify renting a place in the same town my parents live. The peace and prosperity we were promised got shot all to hell and dumped in a river. GenX were able to get houses before everything went tits up. Most millennials never got that chance. I want a do-over of the 21st century. So far it's all been a mistake.

And I forgot all the browns coming into the country that will turn us into minorities in our own goddamn country in a single generation.

Millennials
Why? Because we got a nice taste of the good times before it was all stripped away. Gen X had a great childhood and were able to begin a life before the collapse, while we millennials were just about to have lives before the culture shifted to this hell today. Gen Z never had a shot.
