Coming from UE 4.27 to 5.6 I am fucking shocked and appalled at how much worse the file management is.
What the fuck happened?
I like to keep all my asset packs in a single "assetpack" folder so they don't clutter the main content folder, right? Just a bit of organization.
In UE4 its no fucking problem. Just import the pack and move the folder into assetpack directory, you know, sometimes you need to clean up any redirectors but that's it.

In UE5 you get these asset packs and when you move them the original folder will remain in the content directory with a bunch of ghost files. Then if I try to delete or move those ghost files the editor crashes and if I delete the newly created folder in the asset pack directory the editor crashes. If I verify assets the editor crashes. Also if I try to build my project it fails.
