Here in Brazil we used to have the concept of "travesti", close to "trap", but was not generally offensive and was used even by them. I feel like this is the ideal state of the existence of transsexualism: a honest synthesis between the biological and social components.

But that, of course, would be arguing in good faith. The truth is most trannies are predators looking for "cracking eggs" wherever they go, and the erasure of gender roles left a lot of zoomers lonely and confused, serving as a groundwork for this type of social contagion, with people looking for answers, identity and community in the wrong places. This is why they often try to retroactively rewrite/re-interpret media as well.
