I'm fascinated by the GATE program(s) because I was in what I think is a version of it since 3rd grade as well, but I don't remember anything about it for the most part. I remember doing certain projects like trying to figure out how the pyramids were built by using popsicle sticks and bricks, building a miniature 'car' (mine used a large fan as propulsion), a mock trial, a science project, two major multi-school events: 1. Was a mock UN type scenario where groups were assigned countries (mine was China) and 2.
