The system manipulates people to join it, it puts itself in the position of "Selbstzweck", people from the perspective of the system are working ants, or a resource. Yes people must have somewhat enjoyable lifes for the system to work too, so you might say that the people benefit from it. But I would say that its rather the dream of a happy life that keeps most people in the system and not a real happy life. And I argue that this dream is an illusion.
Show me a person who says that he "made it". I am waiting. The only people I saw that claim to have made it a gardeners that can live of their crops and animals. Or in other words, people outside the system.
You will always consider us "pricks" or "wierd" or whatever, but that is again a manipulation of the system.
