>>509401966>>509397071 >>509396400 Jordan Peterson is the classic example of a Tradcon. He may talk intelligently and may seem masculine, but at his core he holds the exact same values as modern liberals do: women are always right, thus, hold basically zero responsibility for their actions or outcome of a relationship and men are at fault and always responsible. Tradcons ignore the problem and it's why they hold no viable solution. With this train of thought, things will only ever get worse as more and more men check out, both from relationships and in some cases, life itself. As for his "women have more at stake", sure, that was the case prior to all the contraception, abortion laws and parental rights. However, has he been living under a rock for the past 30+ years? Women can back out all the way up until and even past birth (adoption, for example). This is not even going into the effects modern promiscuity is having on men's willingness to get into a relationship and the likely integrity of it after the fact. I'm sorry, but Tradcons have to be the most tone-deaf people in the modern world. Modern women and relationships are to them what modern Trap music is to your grandfather.
I do not subscribe to the Peterson sainthood legend, and I have watched this man for a very long time, how he presents himself publicly (including embarrassing crying fits), how obviously mentally ill he is, how thoroughly he has allowed himself to be bought off politically. I simply have no respect left, even less than I did seven years ago. His obvious weaknesses are his guru airs, eccentric lapses and general aloofness. Unfortunately, Peterson must also be counted among the conservative gatekeepers who fulfill a system-preserving role and block a true reform.
