people struggle with the concept of scarcity.

also you may just have a reductionist mentality, which many people push to the point of having a learning disability, where they'll say stupid shit about gold being just a shiny rock worth nothing. yet AAAAAAALL these faggots are the biggest consumerists in existence (and have the lowest understanding of economics and scarcity)

If you understand crypto markets you're one of two things. A multimillionaire or a respectable gold stacker. If you don't understand crypto you're broke as hell.
The multimillionaire is a crazy person. The gold stacker is highly intelligent. The broke person isn't worth talking about.
Be smart. Avoid crypto.

Buttcoin is the foundational memecoin for all the cryptos. Crypto currency is a perceived solution to a perceived problem circulated by a near cult like group. These types are what Ted Kysaskski described as the oversocialised. They adore the industrial technological system, but see it as having repairable flaws that can be remedied by behaving in certain ways. These types work tirelessly to convince others, and often by proxy to reassure themselves, that the technological system can be fashioned to better serve their needs without compromising the ends and functions of the system itself.

Such types of people serve as outside safety net to the systems main goals because they will ensure that if the part of the system they seek to remedy fails, either organically or by intention, they will be willing to work on its behalf to maintain some of it core functions.

It is of our opinion that crypto coin devotees are as great of a threat, if not more so, to human kind and the natural world, as the industrial society itself.

If the system becomes dependent on digital transactions to sustain itself, then it opens itself up to a physical flaw; it will depend on electricity.

With minimal risk to ourselves and with limited resources the electricity grid could quite easily be destroyed rendering the industrial society unable to function.

How does the crypto and bitcoin supply work? How is it able to be produced and wouldn't the value go down if more of it gradually enters the total supply? Apparently not since it's only gone up in price? Who's in control? I've tried researching and understand the basics but i'm still confused about the blockchain technology.

Because technology. Seriously. How many years were nerds saying the blockchain is revolutionary technology in the modern age? It is advancement in a world that is stagnating. You can traverse traditional fees and laws internationally, globally by using crypto.

Boomers don't understand this because their minds are still living in a world with nationalist countries and laws. But if you apply crypto globally as a decentralized currency you can see it's true inherent value. No more ATM fees, no more using private central banks, no more having your bank account frozen and closed. Bitcoin is decentralized money, a global currency protected by the blockchain. It is the most free and secure payment method in the entire world.

That is why it is worth over 100k dollars a bitcoin. Because it just shows the potential growing while the dollar is losing value in a world moving away from the US economy.

Bitcoin development has been hamstring by glowniggers for a decade now.
That's the reason the sole reason they never increased the block size and why it went from being digital money to a "store or value".

I don't own any crypto anymore but monero works swimmingly for donating to debanked content creators and buying illicit items as opposed to the surveiled shitcoin that is BTC.

BCH exists as a fork of the original bitcoin and everyone's wallet that existed pre-fork was its starting point.
changing the BTC network would require all stakeholders to adopt a new protocol in violation of the original whitepaper, or the ones that adhere to the old one to fade away into irrelevance. in that scenario, the "new" branch that inherited the entirety of BTC would just become BTC and nothing would change.

as for the logarithmic part:
over time bitcoin miner rewards get halved
each time this happens, there's a surge in value, but this will flatten out over time.
basically it just keeps the value of mining high enough as long as bitcoin is worth mining.
this is self fullfilling, but it's part of what keeps people putting nodes on the network to verify transactions to keep it as a currency instead of a central authority like SWIFT

tl;dr: btc has value because it has value, but there's a framework that holds it up because it's useful as a currency without a country. it has flaws like all others

I dont think you realize how fast the USD is losing value. It isn't that bitcoin is going up in value. It is that the usd value is dropping so it takes more usd to purchase gold, bitcoin, a house, etc. If you look at the average price of a house compared to average price of gold per year for the past 100 years you will find houses are cheaper now than 10 years ago in ounces of gold to purchase. The uad value is dropping off a cliff but no one cares because we haven't hit hyperinflation yet.

It is the reality for millions of people who live a technocratic globalist lifestyle. Morals have already been thrown out the window in western countries as the 1% own most of the wealth while the rest live like modern serfs. Most normies don't see it or feel it because they are still distracted by bread and circus. I would say get off your high horse because the working class is so oppressed and kept down by taxes and debt you don't have a moral high ground to stand on anymore.

At least bitcoin is an escape for tech savvy people who understood the value of a decentralized global currency in a world of predatory finance.

I disagree. The market cap of crypto is just over 3 trillion dollars, bitcoin is around 2 trillion. The global market cap is in the 100s of trillions. The 1% dump their profits into the markets to continue amassing the bags of suckers who place their precious time into the markets. The stock market is gambling and the house always wins in the end. Even if the little guy makes a few million dollars he's still just a minnow in a sea of sharks. His profits will be spent eventually into the economy and thus eventually increasing the wealth of the 1%.

It's a never ending wealth transfer. Because time is money and we all have limtied time on this earth.

But it's not a usable currency. The working class you're talking about can't afford a high fee on every small transaction they'd be likely to make and your every transaction is catalogued and open to analysis in perpetuity.

There are coins or a coin that work as an anonymous, virtually free to send digital currency but it is certainly not BTC.

Most BTC "holders" also never move their BTC out of the exchange so it's definitely not the tech savvy propping up the price of this shitcoin.

>It's a never ending wealth transfer.
That is propped up by inflation sinks. Imagine what would happen, if people made an effort to understand the systems that define their lives

Globohomo's origin story:
>once upon a time the world has been peaceful and harmonious, then came along a snakeoil merchant
>the snakeoil merchant has sent ahead an ostensibly filthy-rich bait to a village
>the bait very publically flaunted his shinies and pitched worthless magic paper to the villagers
>the villagers sought out the snakeoil merchant, willing to trade their everything for worhless magic paper
>a week later, after realizing that its worthless magic paper they couldn't use anywhere else, they returned to the merchant to trade it back
>the snakeoil merchant told them that he would be a fool to trade back all the resources for the original prices, as there are so few resources in comparison to the volumes of worthless magic paper now in circulation
>villagers involved legal authority which told them to fuck off, because the trades were legal -- the merchant didn't lie, the bait did and the villagers didn't bother asking the merchant or reading the fineprint
>the snakeoil merchant showed "mercy" and allowed the villagers to burrow the resources against a fee and interest paid with the worthless magic paper
>[fast forward] the village is bankrupt and indebted, everyone's at each other throat having scammed each other out of their worthless magic paper to pay their own fees
>the merchant once again showed "mercy" and offered them a deal: if they assume the role of the bait and spread the good word of the worthless magic paper in other villages they'll be allowed to stay in their homes and toil their fields
>[fast forward] the merchant is now considered the sovereign, writing the laws and ruling over terminally indebted and blackmailed royality and common folk alike, all the while canonizing the most prolific baits as prophets and whatnot
>[fast forward] (You)'re here.

On one hand you recognise the inherent injustice of inequality in the industrial society, yet on the other you propose utilising the globalisation of the very system that you proport to dislike. Your rationale being that it
>offers the tech savvy
a financial opportunity to access more of the material pie.
Criticism of that is not moral postulation, it is a finger pointing at the hypocrisy that you see a solution in exasperating the very problem you claim to be solving, simply because it benefits you in the short term.
The idea of CBDC and decentralised digital currency is not new; it has been on the wish list of the global bankers since the 70s. You and your cult of digital money isn't organic in anyway, and your resistance to the suggestion that it is less than desirable is predictable, if not a little disappointing.

Look so long as you think speculative value increase is real growth then Bitcoin isn't going to ever end.

And you know why that isn't ending (so far)?

Because most house owners would be forced to admit they are heavily indebted over somerthing with barely more value than a car.
Who is going to be the politician that tells the "Well off" house-ownere they are actually the impoverished and foolish the like to mock?
Not even Trump is going to do that willingly.

JUST FUCKING PUT MONEY IN BITCOIN
HOW IS IT NOT OBVIOUS THAT THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IS BEING RIGGED SO THAT IT SUCCEEDS
it will never just be tulip mania because
1) there are a finite number of bitcoins which get exponentially harder to mine we are at ~90% mined currently. If everyone knew tulips would stop existing after X blossoms people would buy them even if they didn't last forever and couldn't easily be stolen

bitcoin is just a reflection of how weak the US stock markets really are - nothing else - it's an extension of Gold created solely because of Gold Laws passed in the 1930s to restrict gold ownership - dumb ass nerds think that the men who control the weapons and violence will somehow let them circumvent the system just cause "globalism" or some meta fantasy land excuse

>How does the crypto and bitcoin supply work? How is it able to be produced and wouldn't the value go down if more of it gradually enters the total supply? Apparently not since it's only gone up in price? Who's in control? I've tried researching and understand the basics but i'm still confused about the blockchain technology.
Bitcoin supply is designed to go up in small amounts up to a maximum limit. The way it works is people generate random numbers to solve a hash that validates a list of transactions (a block), and when they do that, the block allows them to append a โ€œID gains X BTCโ€ transaction line to it.

Each bitcoin block looks like
>random number value of the prior block in the chain
>a list of transactions passing BTC between IDs
>a special transaction giving an amount of free BTC to an ID
>a bunch of random numbers that cause the block to have a specific hash (passed to the next block in the chain)

By that logic, bitcoin trades and can be used transactionally so it doesn't do nothing. The entire point was gold is a "store of value" due to scarcity and Bitcoin can serve the same purpose. Except quite frankly better, hypothetically in the future it is possible to find more gold or to even create it but Bitcoin is truly scarce and can't be additionally generated so Bitcoin is better than gold.

>Though ultimately it is all agreed upon value.
Before the advent of worthless magic paper, debtcattledom and fake, performative "economy", value has been derived from function and labor requirements...

The predatory system of incentives that is usury demands that you are made and kept dependant. Moreso it demands a continous surplus production of hyperprocessed, inedible slop, addictive pharma goo and shoddily designed, terminally obsolescent devices. The entire "economy" boils down to selling longterm problems and renting out shortterm solutions: the longer any given problem exists, the more interest and debt payments are generated. The more people consume, the more worthless magic paper can and needs to be "printed"-- read: assumed to exist in the past (debt), the present (credit) and the future (interest) in whatever quantity necessary to influence, if not outright control your behaviour.
Imagine if there only existed few, lasting high-quality goods -- how could you maintain the illusion of representation? For every single unit of worthless magic paper there exists a likewise worthless waste of resources on some shelves, in some ramshakle "buisness" that's run exclusively on loans (like any other). Any time someone enters the system a loan is issued, the "value" of money is reduced, everyone's means to repay their debt and interest are diminished -- everyone is incentivzed to scam each other out of their loans.

Money is not a currency, it's a vacous commodity. A commodity whose value is dependant on its supply and its demand, and that is yet valued in itself. A commodity whose supply is in control of a select few private hands and whose demand is negotiated by public opinion, which is coincidentially in control of the same select few private hands through propagandists, who, you've guessed it, are paid with it.

Supranational communism shuffles resources around the world to keep up this pyramid scheme, while national capitalism sells you merchandize and runs the consensus cracking apparatus necessary to (para)socially peer pressure you into submission. I digress.

It's a closed loop of garbage-in, garbage-out. There is only one true currency left: influence, and its derivative: blackmail.

The past +300yrs of social misengineering and botched eugenics have successfully created a sub-species of mindlessly consuming drones to whom quality (need/purpose) is an utterly foreign concept.

In order for you to be "outraged" about, for example, "tariffs", you have to be blissfully ignorant of the past 5yrs of reckless BRR!nting and blatant, yet legal fraud. In order for you to be "outraged" about the past 5yrs of reckless BRR!nting, you have to be blissfully ignorant of the past +120yrs of perpetual proxy war waged to expand the BRR!nting. In order for you to be "outraged" about the past +120yrs of perpetual proxy war, you have to be blissfully ignorant of the past +300 years of social misengineering and botched eugenics. (...).

Your "outrage" is performative and your helplessness is learned. You are suffering through a tried and tested protocol of pest control -- you and me, and most everyone around you are the pests.

Whenever the pyramid scheme of debt trembles under the weight of nepotism and plain incompetence, and debtcattle starts noticing the fraud and is threatening to revert back to agentic, sentient human beings, hunger, disease and war are rolled out in quick succession -- in some regions of the world, those lacking meaningful infrastructure and playthings, they are rolled out all at once. I digress.

Come on. Not just bitcoin but every other digital medium including the dollar. Do you think Jews would ever allow money that canโ€™t be manipulated?
How ? With an appropriate program and a computer and or by dictate. When the big Jew says bitcoins will no longer be used , itโ€™s worthless.
And if shtf, try trading with local warlord by telling him the tiny ones and zeros on your thumb drive have value.
Bitcoin will increase in value massively or be worthless depending on whoโ€™s running the game.

People fundamentally do not understand the system that defines their lives. They react to stimuli like terminally domesticated debtcattle. Their contemplation and retrospection stops every single time at the
>I've been scammed!
it never progresses to
>Why did I believe the lies, why didn't I pay attention?
Considering and calling this a feat of learned helplessness is an expression of the sliver of faith I've managed to retain.

So, debtcattle-kun, what's your gameplan going forwards? Will you continue to subscribe to and peddle [current thing] in [current year], or will you turn your life around and become part of the change the world is in dire need of?

TLDR:
It's virtually impossible to back a currency with immaterial value (e.g.: trust) in a heterogeneous society run on fanfiction. It's almost impossiblr to recover from a multi-genetational pyramid scheme, too, because societies eventually lose meaningful conceptions of value (function, purpose etc). You are staring down atleast a century of re-education and rehabilitation. The lesson to be learned:
>Whoever controls a relationship or environment shapes all that resides in it in his own image -- you can't teach what you don't understand.
Surrogate debtcattle incurs personal debt in worthless magic paper and lifetime, arch-debtcattle incurs technological and civilizational debt.

>in majority EU countries even simple thing converting crypto for other crypto is taxable event!
>only matter of time before tax collectors start using this data they will be getting automatically
>you want to hold your crypto on your own wallet or outside of EUs reach?
>too bad because converting the crypto to your countrys money to even be able to buy something = you will have to go thru Binance or any other of these services and these transactions will be automatically reported to your state tax collectors

let me guess how long it will take since the Mutts copy EU

Isn't the whole point of a bitcoin is that it has like a 100 letter password so yours is the only one like it in existence? How can you divide that up? And how do you even access it to turn back into real money to buy stuff? Don't they tax the shit out of it? In fact, who exactly are you buying the bitcoin from anyway? If its just digital what's preventing them from just using it or taking it away or straight up deleting it?
