Their books don't get published or distributed. They definitely do NOT get lots of facetime on TV. The YouTube algorithm suppresses their videos (if they're allowed to upload them at all). The opposite happened to JP. Whatever else you want to say about him, you cannot truthfully claim he's any kind of threat to the System. And judging from how much coverage he gets, I'd say the System finds him very useful. Too bad he's so fucked up that he destroyed his mind from benzo abuse. Unlike you, I've actually read his first two books, Maps of Meaning and 12 Rules. I've watched about 20 of his videos. That's more than enough to be able to form an accurate opinion of his intellect and ideas.

the media is not as simplistic or monolithic as you describe. the media wants interesting, entertaining content. leftists control the media and they invite dissidents on who do pose a threat to the status quo but the leftists think they can manage the interviews or they do it for selfish/financial reasons (ratings)

conservatives have largely been locked out of the media conversation and ostracized from media sites for years, that's what they were trying (and did do) to peterson in Canada. only by the time they took his job and his psychiatry license he was already rich and successful in his current endeavors. the media invited him on because they thought they could manage him like they've managed everybody else, and also he was in the news. they were covering the story. he just managed to manage them instead. his mind is plenty sharp despite (maybe because? of) the pills he was taking, he has simply thought long and deeply about these things.

if you're talking about people who actually want to destroy the system, consider that there are other reasons that they are not "platformed". consider that 99.9% of the culture is not platformed, most people are simply uninteresting or uncompelling or too ridiculous (see kanye).

and again, being an actual threat to the system is fucking stupid. it's going down anyway, why attack a sinking ship?
