yeah 100k is basically worthless - sure you can buy stuff with it, but it's all sub-household stuff.

>>100k doesn't buy you a house.
100k buys you a garage and a car, some appliances, and a vacation.

And 100k doesn't get you anything long lasting: it basically forces you to spend it because its in this yearly average household income niche.

You need a million to buy a house.

This.
Just invest it in a sensible way and don't spend it.
When you're actually ready to purchase a property then you could put it into equity in your home.
This may not be the most efficient (or safest) way to invest it but it does mean you get to live in a $100k nicer home for the next decade or so which as far as my priorities are concerned is a worthy trade off.
Australia has not seen a major downturn in the property market in at least 50 years, and in fact property has outperfomed the Australian stock market over the last decade. So I am bias.

This is possible.
If the US goes down the same route as Australia, where economic growth is driven by population growth rather than innovation or productivity efficiencies then it is totally possible that property will outperform other asset classes over the long term (like it has here) and even when you withdraw your investment decades down the line, it will still only purchase you the same amount of property that it does today, or even less.
So then it just becomes a question of tax. I don't know how it works in the US but tax exempt retirement investments could outperform property by an amount that would make it worthwhile if you include the landtax you would pay over that time were you to buy property now instead.
But of course you have to decide how much living in a nicer property now versus at retirement is worth to you to really make an informed decision on this issue.

put it in the safest stocks imaginable
like well known stocks
pick like 10 of them
then try to get your port folio to 200k
then you can retire
everytime you have more than 200k you can just bet the extra money on options, like 2k a month and you're set just put it back in until it's 300k and then you're basically retired if you live with parents

$100k into a retirement account at age 20 is enough to retire on (at least based on historic data).
Assuming an average of 9% a year return over 45 years will mean you have $5.5 million. If you assume a historic trend of inflation then that $5.5 million will be the equivalent of $1.5 million in today's money.
Considering that you can live anywhere in retirment, that is enough to buy a small home and have enough left over to comfortably cover daily expenses for two decades at least, especially if you consider that the remaining amount should still be invested until you actually need to spend it.
Of course there is no telling what future economic conditions will actually be like. Inflation could run higher. Stock market could underperform. There are lots of variables. But still people should not turn their nose up at $100k, and they should definitely not fall into the trap of spending it now thinking that it can't do anything for them in the future. That is what the Jews want you to think.

if you're paying a mortgage you are renting from the bank
if you're paying property taxes you are renting from the state

everybody is renting, mortgage vs. rental contract is just a decision on how long you want to stay in a place or whether you want the rights to rent a house to someone else

I don't know how old OP is but my guess would be no more than 25.
You can work till 70 instead of 65 and still get your 45 years of growth, or even 75 if you're 30 now.
The rest is not a rosy scenario. It is just an extrapolation of historic trends, which as I said must be taken with a grain of salt.
But it is wrong to go full doomer and just say that nothing can be done to improve your circumstances, even when you have just inherited $100k. There is nothing you can do to impact macro trends or escape the Jewish world order that we live under. But you can and should be making smart decisions to make your life as comfortable as it can be. What you choose to do now with $100k in savings will have a massive impact on your life in several decades time and you should not take that decision lightly.

Yes.
XDTE or XPAY if you want SP500 exposure
Margin the entire 100k. Enjoy your 3500+ every month. Deduct margin payments from taxes. Use the dividend income to pay down current debt, keep your job, and then you can afford a house that you could normally only qualify for (most people can only AFFORD half the payment a lender will offer them. What does the lender care, if they get behind the lender gets both their interest to date and a house to sell, plus they can write off the bad debt for their corporate taxes)

>whole history of mankind
for 99% of human history we were hunter-gatherers. We would hunt an animal a week then sit around and do nothing for the rest of the time. There was no work. Humans do not want to naturally work, it's just not in our nature.

If you are serious and have like 5000 usd, you can fly to RF with a tourist visa and there go into the first recruitment army office in Moscow.
I bet they will take you. They have program for foreigners to serve in smo in Ukraine for rf citizenship. They pay them less than the rf citizens who serve though.
You can even try that with 2000 USD.

Start a business. It's something you can do that will start making money right now if it's something you know how to do. I'd start a CNC/3d print shop if someone gave me 100k but that's because it's what I know. I know for a fact I'd make money if I spent my time and that much money on making parts.

But you need to do what interests you, or what you know how to do. Even something simple like a lawn mowing business is profitable if you live in the south, you'd be surprised how much you can make with a small trailer, a zero turn mower and a truck with a picture painted on the side. That's only an example but that's the smartest thing you can do with money. Don't listen to these anons telling you all this shit about stocks and index funds like they've got it all figured out, nothing will beat having a business.

2000 will not be enough , coz only the plane ticket is probably like 1200-1500 USD. Probably another 500 - 600 for the visa fees and agency commission.
And then some money for a week in rf. Who knows. They might not even take you so you have to go back. Or go to another town ,city ,region and try there.
So 3000usd would be better.

Or you can try with Ukraine foreign legion from Poland. But if you trying rf first. Better fly to Greece and file a report that tour pass was stollen , so they give you a new one from us embassy , so that ukr do not see that you have been in rf.
Or they might consider you a spy.

To buy gold means only to buy the metal gold.
The rest is like buying a stock. Gambling on the stick market, hoping the financiers will not steal my.money and make me rich.
Where do you buy ohysical gold from? From a jewelry shop?
The moment you enter there , they will know you are noob easy to be scammed. They have special gold looking and feeling pieces just for noobs like you.
How do you know the gold is real?
What do you do if it is not?
How much do you think you can buy from a jewelry ship, a 10th of an ounce?

Where do you store it?
In a bank? Burry it in the ground in your back yard?
How do you convert it back to real money to buy bread with them?
What if no jewelry shop wants to buy it from you?

most brokers have pretty decent rates, robinhood is a scam but has actually good rates. fidelity is on the up and up and is the best traditional brokerage for someone who wants a modern experience, but their margin rates limit the success of this strategy to ETFs that have at least 10% return of capital (tax-advantaged) rate.

>>509631233
>Any other dividend tips and tricks?
return of capital is everything, because it doesn't get taxed like regular income. many funds will actively mention this if they're good about it, but otherwise check for a 19a disclosure to make sure. you want something that gains enough to at least maintain your money, and distributes 100% ROC, which will give you between 3-10 years of tax-free income
