I don't disagree with you. When I was a kid I thought Alaska made up half of the land mass of the entire US. No one ever taught me that the map on the classroom wall was so out of proportion. Never really compared it side by side to the globe. The globe that is put in every class to indoctrinate kids from a young age as I was told from a flat earther I know. And I was unknowingly trained to laugh at his stupidity as well.
