I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their child-rearing practices and skills mixed with their unparalleled work ethic are second to none. Their rationale and logical thought toward circumstances coupled with their innate capability to de-escalate situations is to be envied and coveted. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African-Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement, hard work and a self-reliant nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

Gun control and gun laws don't mean anything in the ghetto. You can buy a gun as easily as a bag of dope, and the cartels run the underworld running drugs and guns. The government even has a hand in this as well due to corruption. Gun laws only mean something to law abiding citizens.

No the shootings were gang wars over drug territory and people even died over petty roberies. The police were even afraid to come down to the ghetto. I knew the local thugs and was on good terms with them and they basically operated as the police regulating the area. We had a mutual respect as I am the type to stand my ground and am not a soft individual. One of the gang leaders even apologized to me for trying to check me. The largest criminal organization in this country is the US government really.

That's false, though. The cities in the US with the highest murder rates are St. Louis, New Orleans, Memphis, and Jackson (Mississippi). All are in Republican-run 'red' states with loose gun laws. The strictest gun laws are in NYC, which has one of America's lowest urban murder rates.

Philadelphia has Pennsylvania's gun laws, which are much looser than those of safer cities like New York or Boston.
