Sort of. Republican-run cities like Dallas and OKC also have significant problems with violent crime, and much higher murder rates than NYC.

I corrected the chart. As others pointed out, the numbers for European nations were way too high, so I looked up the actual numbers, and here they are. The US numbers still need to be adjusted, since they come from the mid-2010's, prior to the Floyd era, and before the spike in murders of the 2020's. But the FBI's data collection changed around that time, and those statistics are hard to infer.
