>>509836630I'm saying that that sounds way too familiar to the whole dunning kruger argument used by midwits where they think that simply being aware of the D-K effect, makes them smarter than the average person. I am an extremely logical person, I'm a problem solver, an engineer, a mediator and a self-taught business owner. The idea that I don't know 'logic' because I haven't studied it is a joke because it also implies that if I did, suddenly I would become more logical? That's not possible, people who know me would agree.
I just hate these arguments of 'only true free thinkers know how little free thinking they actually have' because a huge % of the audience were never free thinkers to begin with. Again, I've spent enough time here and on other forums over decades to know so many 'smart' people online are all the same
>I was really smart in school, but I just never tried, I'm lazy so I didn't do well. And they're here, and they are the ones posting pseudo intellectual bullshit. But hey, maybe your posts aren't that, and there is a lot of merit to them. But I've seen similar stuff for decades and its all so tiring.
I can easily admit that I am driven by emotions from time to time. It's obvious when my hatred of something surpasses a rational response, and I don't give a shit about it. But at no time would I EVER think that there is no difference between me, and the hordes of clueless idiots in this world who say 'no one is truly a free thinker, we are all the same!'
No. This isn't binary, it's a spectrum. And I know for a fact I am far, far more logical than almost everyone I have ever met and I will not tolerate them telling me that I am not 'logical' because to believe so, is illogical.
