1) If Trump feels that Putin is not playing ball, that Trump's delusion of 6D chess is actually not real, he will get pissy and send Ukraine an absolute onslaught of weaponry that Russia has not seen since the beginning of the war.

2) Trump continues to believe Putin respects him and/or his friend, leads Ukraine on like a cocktease whore, and the war will stagnate to a near stand-still, but Ukraine slowly depleting its resources as Russia chips away (enough to take a few KMs and villages, basically a pace that needs like decades to take Kyiv in 3 days).

Everything, unironically, hinges on the whim of Trump's ego and illusion of who is/not his friend, who he sees as subservient to him, who is loyal, who is not, all while keeping Israel protected as #1 priority of his regime.

My dear /pol/ack...do you not remember the absolute agonizing groveling that Ukraine had to resort to just to fucking get HIMARS? Did you forget how LONG and grueling it was to get Stormshadow/SCALPs? What about F16s since the literal start of the war? It's always slow, drip feeding, while Ukraine does what it can to hold off until then.

Not a SINGLE military strategy sees that as a formula for victory. The fact that Ukraine, unironically, didn't fall in 2 weeks/3 days/1 nanosecond or whatever the memes are, is absolutely insane on a strategic level.

Either Ukraine absolutely exceeded all expectations and pulled off an insane move of defiance to surivive.

Or Russia simply turned out to be ill-equipped, ill-prepared, and unmotivated--as well as just incompetent.

Or, it's a bit of both.
Either way, this is a historic embarrassment seeing WHERE the situation is given the facts, given that its going on 4 FUCKING YEARS.
