Im on day 3 of a fast. Ive been cheating and drinking bone broth with 100cals of either olive oil or tallow. Plus I drink my coffee with creamer in the morning, so its more like a 400-500cal day diet. But either way im losing weight. Maybe 1/2lb a day

Intermittent fasting and carnivore. The high saturated fat keeps you full. If you plateau for a while, eat 90% fat and 10% protein for a day or 2. I have a severe sugar addiction, so abstinence is the only thing that works for me.

I got on Trizepatide (Mounjaro), by far the best thing I've ever done.

some ppl are just born into a life with circumstances including bad parenting that made them fat their entire lives.

No schizo bullshit, just my experience. It’s keto/intermittent fasting. For the first bit eat as much as you want but don’t eat more than 20 grams of carbs a day. Within a week you’ll find yourself be able to just feel “full” and not even want to snack when your insulin isn’t spiking up and down like crazy anymore.

It’s important to understand it’s not even a diet but an actual process your body can go through called ketosis where it switches to running off fat instead of glucose. Many people with diabetes have freed themselves from Pharma and Sugar Jews clutches with keto.

Time and again propaganda says it's very difficult to lose weight after 50. Challenge accepted. My Net Diary app. Age height activity level. Generates calories for the day. Input whatever I eat or drink that has calories. In 4 months lost 43lbs. Continue every day for several years now haven't gained it back. Measuring cups, measuring spoons, electronic scale. Eat whatever I want. It's all on the list. If it isn't I figure it out each element of the dish. No exercise. Just never consume more calories than I burn in a day. At the very least, put in meticulously what you are eating for two weeks unironically so you know that it's you putting more than you burn off in the hole in your face.

Here's the thing about that buddy. That's only a temporary alleviation. When people go on strict dieting regiments and fasting schedules, fat cells are *depleted*, but they are not *removed*. So while the fat cells turn empty, causing you to lose weight, as soon as you get to your comfortable weight and resume a normal eating habit, those fat cells will almost instantly refill and you will balloon back up in a matter of weeks or a couple months.

That's the dirty secret of dieting that nobody talks about. To actually truly get rid of those fat cells entirely so that they can't be filled back up is to go on a severe fasting regiment where the body must necessarily resort to cannibalizing the cells themselves also. Fat cells grow and are produced by the body when excess energy is taken in. But when those fat cells are already built, they are stored, like empty shelves just waiting to be restocked. You need to tear down those shelves entirely either through prolonged fasting, or just flat out liposuction.

I've yo-yo'd multiple times in my life now, the lowest I'd ever gotten being about 167 at 6'0. As soon as I went back to eating 'normally' (which would be 2 meals a day, lunch and dinner), I'd notice I'd be putting on weight very quickly once more.

I aim to rid myself of the fat stores AND the cells entirely. Not just the stores.

I did this recently not knowing what sugar fasting was. I just used cocoa, sugar water and and ice. I'd eat a super low calorie diet otherwise, hardly anything until dinner. I had no intention of losing weight but turns out I lost 10-15 lbs from it while sitting on my ass the entire time. I'd imagine it could give you diabetes or some sort of health problem though. Might want to look into that.

Throw all carbs and sugar out of your diet.

Go for 1 hour walk every day. Get up earlier.
Go to bed earlier.
Begin to lift.
Increase protein.
Once weight is down, switch from walking to jogging, do it for 30 mins per day. Pick 2x 15 min laps.
Repeat.
I lost about 30lbs this way.

I used cigarettes, black coffee, and fasting to drop 100+ pounds but now the cigs aren’t doing it for me anymore.

I’ve been binge eating these past 3 or so weeks on and off. I was close to getting a six pack last month probably but now I have fat bloated gut again. FML.

Never get fat. Never let your kids get fat and know the taste of sugar / corn syrup

How do you deal with those thoughts? Have you accepted your situation and you don't care anymore or are there moments when you feel like anxiety or some existential dread about the end?
