Realistically speaking it depends on what you need. Probably should do some genetic screening too unless you want to produce more dwarfs (or stillborn babies). If you're completely crippled somehow that becomes a problem, but if you can function with ordinary medical care you can do whatever you want. Maybe join the eugenics program if you're the gigadwarf; might come in useful. Not as good as being a catgirl.
