but it would not matter even if it did because the next level is then raised to the cry of "why can't the lives of the citizens be better". It is all relative of course, what exactly would be better for people, no niggers, no kikes, everyone rich or just your life better? When anons from the US (or at least with the US flag) boast about how great their life is, how they are raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, got that new full specced F150 and will be changing it next years for a new one you dod have to then question when others complain about so much. Of course it could all be a Hollywood BS, sure there are plenty of US citizens with money, but the amount of crying that goes on you do have to wonder and i do assume they don't' even live near kikes or niggers.

I don't know how to check this but it smells like bullshit. Medicaid, arguably the only possible place from which we're "gaining" significant savings, hasn't even been cut yet. There is literally no way we could have a budgetary surplus right now in real terms because the ONLY ACTUAL SAVINGS are still hypothetical.

I'm saying they're hypothetical because the people who lose coverage aren't going to just be denied treatment. They're still going to be treated, and even if they go into forever-debt, much (more? externalities exist and are very real) of the cost of their treatment is still going to be passed onto taxpayers. The most "optimistic" projection here, if we discard the infinitely cynical "hope" that people just die at home instead of seeking treatment, is that states will pick up the bill... and since very few, if any, will be in a position to do so, we're likely looking at increased federal funding to those states unless the feds just want to let 40 states go bankrupt.

I just don't know what Trump was thinking. Over the last 15-20 years, healthcare has been an enormous focus. We've debated an endless array of options. Trump seems to have discarded each and every option proposed in favor of "just cut healthcare haha," thereby completely discarding the debate entirely in favor of a sweeping destruction of national healthcare policy. Even "destruction" isn't strong enough language -- he has functionally abrogated the entire discourse; retroactively returning the entire discussion to first principles absent anything but RICH PEOPLE NO PAY MONEY. It's just stupid policy. It is unsophisticated and cares literally nothing for any interests except those of the rich... who, let's face it, are doing as well as they've literally ever done. They're richer now than they've been since the Gilded Age. Now, we're subsidizing them even more.

I guess I just don't get it. It makes me feel like I'm missing some super-advanced big-brain line of reasoning. I'm terrified that's not the case.

It's all fake, niggers. Muh debt is such a dumb stupid boomer retard issue. They WORSHIP the idea of taking money and paying it. It's whipped into them. That's why both political sides use it.

Republicans say MUH HECKIN DEBT and use it to cut their influence and government power (thereby enabling Dems to win) and Democrats say MUH HECKIN DEBT NEED TO RAISE TAXES do they don't talk or do anything else just use it as a cope and excuse and HELLOOOOOOO????? WHO DO YOU THINK OWNS THE DEBT AND GETS THE MONEY WHEN ITS PAID OFF.

Its not, "1. you took out a loan, 2. You pay it back", it's actually, "you lended to a nuclear superpower that could wipe you off the face of the earth"

Here's a guide for you:

1. Anyone talking about the debt is over the age of 35, maybe even 30.

2. Gen z will never care about it. Ever. Any gen z literally talking about it has the tism.

No exceptions. You talk about the debt because you must have a pretty good life and think balancing the budget and paying some heckin bills will set you on the right track. Whowwssh heckin fiscal responsibility and doing the right gosh darn thing and paying your fair share. It's a reflection of old asses who had it good and they are cucked and whipped into a certain rigidity of thought.

Oldfags need not reply. I hate your guts and I hate you. Being into le anime, gay shit, bing bing wahoo is what brought you weirdos to 4chan forty years ago or whatever. Calling me immature or a zoomer isn't an argument. You'll just get mad and not be able to refute me and call me immature but in reality it's cope and projection and needed to expose you as the pathetic man children cucks you really are up front before you start running your mouths. Demolished you and your stupid thread and your stupid debate. Go back to gooning and playing games on your weekend shift from your ez cush job mindless retards.

except it isn't actually a budget surplus and they're lying again. the budget is increasing our debt but tariffs reduced the amount our debt increased by 27 billion, which wasn't in the budget, so they are calling that exact number a "budget surplus" despite there being no budget surplus and our debt is still increasing. i fucking hate it here.

government figures
https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/datasets/debt-to-the-penny/debt-to-the-penny
>6/2/2025 public debt $36,214,400,664,854.53
>7/10/2025 public debt $36,595,101,611,079.13
so the debt increased by $380,000,000,000.00ish dollars from june until 2 days ago, that isn't a budget surplus.

i don't know how it works in america, but generally a budget is an amount of money set aside for a certain period, usually a fiscal year.

so any additions other than already planned inputs are indeed surplus, to be distributed via later government decisions

it has nothing to do with debt, tho of course it doesn't represent a health of an economy in any way
