There's a lost gospel which the Church fathers called The Gospel of the Hebrews, and most historians do think it's an earlier gospel that just wasn't preserved, probably because it was more Jewish like how early Christianity was, and Jewish as in more "keeping the law(Torah)" as Jesus states than sadducee.
Also keep in mind whenever you see doctor, lawyer, teacher etc., they were highly likely to be pharisees. So a lot of those passages are pharisees asking Jesus about his perspective and usually end up leaving pleased with his answer and perspective.
