Religion is like the adhesive with which cultures and civilizations are built and held together. Atheism always results in crisis and decline. Political liberalism is furthermore an overtly revolutionary (suicidal) ideology.

The question is what can constitute an illiberal future. We will never be the sincerely believing Christians that we were before but we can go through the motions and adhere to a less suicidal and more self assertive political ideology than liberalism. Our job is to figure out what that should be.

People say the West is collapsing, but I think that’s just because we’ve turned our back on God. We need to get back to our roots — to Biblical values, to the Constitution, to the institutions that made our civilization great. Our laws were based on the Ten Commandments. Our universities were built to study the Bible. Even our moral sense of justice — protecting minorities, loving our enemies, giving everyone a voice — all of that came from Scripture. Sure, some of the elites are corrupt, but we shouldn’t throw out the system. We should restore it. These institutions just lost their way. If we return to Christ, they’ll come back to life.

And yeah, I know a lot of Jews run things — the banks, Hollywood, the news, the courts — but that doesn’t bother me. They’ve always been good with money and education. They’re successful for a reason. After all, they gave us the Bible. They gave us the moral compass we still follow. Even when I look at things like civil rights or immigration reform, I see the hand of God — working through people who understand suffering. We shouldn’t resent them; we should be grateful. I don’t get why people say Jewish influence is a problem. They helped build the very freedoms we’re trying to protect. We just need to pray harder and love more — that’s how we save the West.
