>>510992203Its more like that these companies over hired during the corona and they have become stagnant companies that are desperate to find some new growth oportunities. Some of them went all in AI in belief that it would bring growth, ofcourse that is not yet happening. But as they are stagnant and they still need to show the illusion of progress to investors, they starts to layoff people to reduce costs to make profit go up, for now.
Also they are pivoting from some stagnant products to more profitable ones so they are laying of the old force and hiring indians for some mainetance things. Example microsoft is focusing more on azure, their OS has become kind of stagnant and xbox is not bringing in money, so they are getting the axe.
