>>512230712If you have training and you go Bruce Lee on a motherfucker in the street, it doesn't matter the situation: you will catch a felony. Judges mostly view martial artists as, "Well you should've known better and walked away."
I know of a guy who accidentally killed a guy with punches alone and did 5 years in the penitentiary. He didn't even know he killed the guy, he thought he just knocked him out. Paid for his drink and went back home.
Two weeks later he got tracked down (it happened while he was travelling for work) and got charged with first degree murder because the guy basically died as soon as his head ringed on the concrete floor.
Eventually though he was vindicated as defending himself by eyewitnesses, but by the time it was all over they wouldn't come off Manslaughter.
You send someone to the hospital or kill them, you are usually always going to be charged with something. That's just a fact.
Hospitals are required, by law, if they suspect someone was the victim of an attack to report it to the police. I know of them refusing treatment to people if they won't talk to police. Illegal, but it doesn't stop people from caving usually so they can get help.
You can pussy out to lawfare or we can break the system eventually, the choice is your's.
