Things to consider. That we are pretty up in north, not as far as Anchorage in Alaska, but not by much. Meaning, that in summertime, days are long. And in wintertime, nights are very long (here daylight in wintertime can be as short as like 7 hours). In result, it can became quite depressing.
Because of proximity to sea, and Gulf stream, weather is relatively wet. Not was much as in UK or Netherlands, but not by much. In summertime, it is green everywhere. In spring and autumn, mud and rain. Which can be depressing also.
Countries sparsely populated. Bunch of national parks, where you can roam freely. You can go berry picking and shroom picking even in private forests, and it is big thing here. On entertainment, there is very limited. And tourist attractions. But if into nature and stuff, quite a lot.
Also, a lot of rivers and lakes to take a swim in summertime. Public pools kinda exist, but are not very popular.
