I work at an international airport and all my coworkers hate shitjeets for this. Most airlines have single digit wheelchair passenger count, maybe like 15-20 tops for a big flight. Every day air india comes in with an average of 70-100 chairs. It's so fucking obvious they scam the service but we can't deny them. I hope more of their planes crash in the future, fuck them.

It's not just that. They also get a shorter, separate line in customs. Ironically, when several big flights full of jeets like Qatar and Emirates come in, they clog up that separate line and have to wait 30 minutes or more. Also, despite those flights coming from Arab countries there's very few Arabs using the wheelchairs compared to jeets. Only they are so shameless about cheating the system.

In US airports, you can't just demand a wheelchair; you have to have an endorsement on your boarding pass so there's at least some controls. It only makes a difference on steerage class airlines anyway. Southwest dumped their free-for-all seating system effective 2026.

When I was working at Amazon designing the wage cage, our middle manager, Mr. Jewelman, was complaining about having to go into the "cattle pen" as he called it. Mr. Jewelman was standing at the elevators for roughly 20 minutes and one of my coworkers, Ranjeesh Ratmatat, was coming back from his free lunch in freeway park. Mr. Jewelman started up about the cattle again, and then remarked that a particularly brown cow was wandering over. Ranjeesh overheard this and broke into tears. Our secretary, Ms. Estac Tee, draq queen extraordinaire, came over to comfort Ranjeesh but Ranjeesh pushed him away.

Turns out it was a misunderstanding. Ranjeesh overheard Mr. Jewelman talking about the cattle beneath him that he has to manage, and Ranjeesh realized Mr. Jewelman was talking about him. Ranjeesh had never heard such a compliment in his life and broken down into tears of joy. A cow! He's a cow! Mr. Jewelman sees him as a cow! That was the day Ranjeesh finally became a man, to his people back in India. He is now a legend there and drives a range rover with a "student driver" sticker on it while weaving over the freemont bridge to get freebies at the coop he otherwise refuses to shop at.

I have never really got the eagerness to be the first in the plane.
they won't close the gate if the boarding area still has people, you won't lose your seat, you can't hog other seats for yourselves, and only very rarely there's not enough room in the overhead lockers for your stuff. The seats in the plane aren't that comfy, so why bother?
