So your entire 7-day week, is spent being on-call because maybe they'll call you in to work a shift that day, but maybe they won't. And it's part-time, so you don't have guaranteed hours anyway meaning you theoretically could be waiting all week for nothing. I went to night school on shifts off at murphy's and surfed during my days off prep cooking. I still lived at home so i could pay for my car and food.
