A government run store has closed its doors
The only grocery store for miles has closed its doors for the last time.
>“Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we are no longer, at this time, able to serve the residents of this important community,” the sign on the front door said.
The city pumped $18 million into the store over the last decade and it still can’t keep the shelves stocked. This is all the fault of corporate greed raising prices that the government can’t even afford. The people in the area relied on this very important grocery store to feed their families. Hopefully the city can open more of these stores in the future.
