I think this was true before COVID and the amount of outsourced delivery services that pizza shops can rely on now. I grew up in a town of 5,000 people and fucking 7 pizza restaurants. I had friends, friends of friends, etc... who all had experience working at any of those 7 pizza places. There are tons of local trucking jobs where you're working 40hrs home daily and weekends.
If you're lonely already you can use it to gain experience and stack cash. No rent utilities etc. Sleeper berth is insanely comfy. You can be not lonely later but with a stack and experience.
