They never told us growing up that some of us simply wouldnt have the intelligence to succeed.
I have to work twice as hard as my predecessor in order to produce half the quality he could.
This is where having a good attitude is important. When I was in my 20’s I had a boss tell me he would rather work with someone who is less talented but with a good attitude than someone who is naturally gifted with a shitty one.
I am dumb and happy and it gets me by. Barely. But I get by.
