Also I agree with you, and it's actually nice to see something positive on this board for once. Love is an active thing, and it's a choice. Infatuation is the emotion in the beginning, it's nice and intense but too many people these days mistake the infatuation fading over time with relationship failure. Too many people have been conditioned by social media ideals and hollywood jew crap into believing that love is supposed to feel like the first time every time.
Love is a choice every day. It's choosing every day to say "this is the person I stake myself on"
That way when the good times come there is someone there to share them with, and when the bad times come, there is someone there to get you through them. Both people have to be willing to choose this, both people need to realize that good and bad times come and nothing is permanent, fixating on a valley means you'll never hit the peaks.

The strong emotion is Romance, not love.

Romance has always been associated with intoxication and addiction for a reason. It's a mind-clouding illusion like heroin that makes you feel like it's the only true happiness in the universe. And then when your fix gets taken away, the withdrawal can be bad enough to kill you or make you kill yourself.
