Dresden – Brutal stabbing attack on a Dresden tram: A 21-year-old US citizen was seriously injured shortly after midnight on Sunday. The young American allegedly intervened when female passengers were being harassed. Police have arrested a man with Syrian citizenship. He is believed to be involved in the attack. Whether he is the stabbing attacker is still unclear. Another man is on the run.

It happened around 12:25 a.m. on tram line 7 from Weixdorf to Pennrich (Dresden). According to police, "two men from a group were harassing female passengers" near the stop at the famous Golden Rider.

US citizen wanted to protect women

Police spokesperson Luka Reumund (48) told BILD: "A 21-year-old US citizen intervened and was injured with a knife by one of the other perpetrators in the ensuing altercation." Reumund: "The two perpetrators then fled the scene." The seriously injured US citizen was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

A suspect arrested

Police were alerted and were able to arrest a 21-year-old suspect at another stop 700 meters away. According to police, he is a Syrian citizen and presumably fled on a rental scooter. Reumund: "We are investigating him and the still-unidentified man for, among other things, grievous bodily harm."

as i am from dresden let me drop some info on you:

-if I told people not to take the tram at night because of dangerous brownoids they would all call me a nazi and if i did this at work they world inform my boss and hr

-20 year old uni students dont know, they cant afford cars and hence are forced into the tram (if you are a student here you get to ride trains all over saxony for free)
-dresden has a very low % of brownoids and foreigners, its probably one of the whitest cities in germany

I am regularly in Dresden,Meissen, Munich. German cities are cleaners, nicer, and much more developed than Polish ones

I don't think you realize the degree of anarcho-tyranny euros live under. Intervening is both something you are obligated to by law (so giult is deflected and (You) are held responsible for the crime. Yet at the same time you can be jailed for a long time without trial if you were to say something mean or cause harm. Now factor in that most euros make less than americans and have a higher cost of living in the more developed parts. Just a month or a week away from work means you could default on your loan payments as we have rather a lot of personal debt. It can start there and spiral all the way down.
It's not a conscious behavior mostly, but the risk/reward ratio is really quite skewed. If we had conditions more similar to the americans you'd see a lot fewer cultural enrichment episodes.
I could go on about the causes, but this is de facto what's going on. Most of the time in my country at least it's passersby who stop knife attacks and the last terrorist attack was also stopped by civilians, this is a problem caused by the state. And still, to give you an example from Norway, a man was clocked in the head from behind, turned around and defended himself, but he said nigger while doing it. He got a $2000 fine and a month in jail while the attacker was let go. It's deeply unjust and talking about courage when you're up against the state by proxy takes away attention from the real issue.
