Importers pay tariffs, decide the price. The real treachery are the opportunists that raise prices that aren’t paying tariffs. Minute Maid OJ took a recent price hike because they source their oranges from Mexico and South America. Tariffs make imported materials more expensive. Other OJ manufacturers producing OJ from local sources have also raised their prices even though they don’t pay extra taxes on imported goods. These assholes are taking advantage of the inflation due to the tariffs and are putting extra money in their pockets. These are the real enemy. If everything costs the same, people will continue to purchase what they feel is the best tasting OJ. You are no longer punishing foreigner suppliers for undercutting local suppliers with cheaper pricing. Only the consumer gets punished by higher prices.

You’re wrong. The point of tariffs is to discourage imports with higher pricing by adding additional cost (tariffs). The purpose is to make pricing on domestic goods more equitable.

Because the importer pays additional taxes, they have to buy fewer imports. Likewise, they need to recoup the extra expenses by charging the consumer more money. This punishes the exporter with lower demand for their product and the importer with greater cost to import foreign goods. In theory, the demand for imported goods by the consumer drops due to higher prices and local products become more desirable due to equitable pricing.

What if the importer charges a few extra dollars above the tariff and local producers want in on the increase in prices? That’s what’s currently happening. Price gouging, blaming the tariffs.

MAGA’s war on consumers. Where did you think those tariffs are going? $3B for upgrading the grass in DC. Hiring private armies to patrol cities. Purchasing private equity like the 10% share in Intel stock.

The rich are having a field day, the consumer is paying.

Demand your government use the tariffs toward domestic business advancement and not pet projects like ballrooms and Oval Office Temu showrooms.

You’ll be surprised how many companies are simply recouping costs that cater to the elite. Produce a slightly better quality product on a smaller scale at a higher price. Winning.

Companies coming home will only stabilize the prices; they won’t be coming down. If a product becomes too expensive due to the price of local labor, they downsize and focus on wealthier consumers.

Still wanting to believe the lies. Joe Biden is no longer president. This economy is suffering because the shit choices our current government has made. If Joe is responsible for today’s current inflation, than he’s also responsible for our record stock markets.

Biden’s name isn’t on Epstein’s list of losers, Trumps name comes up frequently. Trump is a known sexual abuser, jokes about his kid’s tits and spent years in the company of a child molester’s company as his wingman. Come to your own conclusions.

The Trump trade deals with the EU and UK have mutual tariffs.
The point behind tariffs is that some use artificially increased costs on imported goods to prop up local businesses that may be expensive to establish initially, or advantage domestic producers.
Free Masons had a take on the fact the US has been slow or non-reactive on tariffs that products are a matter of quality, need, and marketing. Obviously domestic population not producing as much breaks down in ways if you have a Chinese sweatshop producing clothing and leather for a mere few bucks, and it has decimated those industries within the US, as a fraction remain viable. Much of the remaining manufacturing is high value, but as a result professions like stone masons - on par with their European counterparts are rare, across a country with an economy equal to those of Europe, watches like Rolex, clock, and furniture makers that are domestic are rare. American auto makers rarely have their sports and muscle car models featured in racing games. Regardless they still compete domestically. FORD is the massive exception, and they have plants in Europe like Toyota and Mercedes does in the USA.

The issue with these tariffs is that they vary nation to nation and deals have been struck. All the goods we import come from multiple sources. There is no single country that producess 100% of anything we import. So when the price from country X goes up, country Y is ready to compete. In fact these tarffs will stimulate competition to serve the US market, the biggest consumer market in the world.

And things we produce here will become more attractive to consumers. Instead of mangoes or bananas, companies will use apples and cherries in packaged foods knowing they will be able to obtain them at a better price now, thus stimulating US growers. Cheap Asian fish and radioactive shrimp will suddenly be more expensive than our own stuff. LCD plants can be located here instead of in Thailand or Vietnam.

Umm. About that. The importer (our guys) pay tariffs on items received. In theory, due to tariffs, they buy less. However…

The importer raises the price on these goods to recover his losses. Best part is, he probably adds a local inconvenience fee. The consumer actually pays for the additional costs. The foreign seller is punished because the importer can’t buy as many units because he also pays the tariffs.

A tariff means that a company has to pay a tax to sell their goods in your country.

Companies then attempt to make the tariff cost back, by charging you more.

In a healthy economy, they cant do that because they have to compete with local producers. So either they keep their prices low/normal, or the consumer will instead buy from a different seller.

but since the country is ran by middlemen jews who buy and sell from everyone, you end up paying more anyways because the kikes are selling all the goods and all the goods are tariffed, and the ones that arent tariffed raise their prices anyways because its the same jews and then they tell you that you have to pay the tariffs because you never learned how tarifs or the economy is suppose to work in the jew ran education system.

Home Depot and Lowes are considered competitively priced materials. Contractors get a discount of course, but it’s based on the current cost of material. Decent paint is around $50 a gallon at Lowe’s. You can pay up to $100 a gallon at a quality store. Walmart paint sucks. It’s cheap. It takes more coats than quality paint so you buy more paint.

lots of retarded companies ran by jews also participate in extracting american resources (oranges) then shipping them abroad to be processed, then shipping them back, so they get double duty taxed because jews are always doing retarded shit to swindle the goy.

trump's tarifs are a good example of why kikes hate strong rulers/monarchs/kings. Your oj should be made in america, with american oranges, and those raw oranges should never leave the state they are picked in. Tariffs make absolutely 0 sense for America unless your goal is to fuck Americans over. We don't manufacture anything so implementing tariffs won't encourage importers to stop importing and start buying domestically because there is no domestic option, their only choice is to do as you said and raise the prices for consumers even higher. Tariffs won't magically bring manufacturing back to the USA either. Companies will simply move their factories from the sweatshop country that has the highest tariffs associated with it to the country with the lowest tariffs associated with it. You'd have to build the manufacturing in America FIRST before you implement tariffs for them to help out with domestic business in any way. Trump is so obviously a jewish puppet put in place to bring America to its knees to make sure it could never be powerful enough to interfere with Israeli affairs except to facilitate whatever their next move is. We live in the most disgusting timeline possible.

>We don't manufacture anything
Don't be stupid. We make cars, planes, ships, metals, plastics, spacecraft, you name it. Not as much as we used to but that's because of cheap goods from China and elsewhere. With high tariffs, we can force companies to buy American produced goods instead. The goal of a tariff is to make it cheaper to buy local than import the goods, after all. This stimulates local industry instead of sending money to China where they turn it into factories which contributes to THEIR economy.

It's so simple that I believe only stupid people can't figure out the purpose of tariffs. Without these tariffs there is no way your local plants can compete economically with China or whoever, anyhow. And we've passed the point of tiptoeing into this as well. It's now or never.

>We make cars, planes, ships, metals, plastics, spacecraft
Cars are the only thing on this list the average person actually buys, and this doesn't make buying American made cars any cheaper, it just makes buying foreign cars more expensive in an already massively inflated car market.

>Not as much as we used to but that's because of cheap goods from China and elsewhere
You mean the things every day Americans actually buy that we don't manufacture in the US?

>Without these tariffs there is no way your local plants can compete economically with China or whoever, anyhow
There haven't been any local plants in decades because US corporations were all ENCOURAGED by the government to outsource to the third world instead. Now that there's nothing being produced in America Trump is placing tariffs on companies to "encourage them to buy domestic products" that don't even exist. The only possible end result of this is raising the cost of living for every day Americans with little to no improvement to US manufacturing or domestic trade. If Trump actually wanted to fix those issues he'd stop sending money to Israel and building golden ballrooms in the white house and use that money to subsidize the creation of manufacturing plants here in America. Which crevasse of your colon were you storing this post full of bullshit that you pulled out of your ass from?

What do people think tariffs are?
The whole point of them is to jack up the prices of imported goods so people choose to buy cheaper, local products instead which encourages investment into local production and creates jobs.

This was always going to be short term pain long term gain. God forbid you have a leader who plants trees instead of uprooting them to sell to foreigners

At the time of the exodus, every factory was fought over. With tariffs, subsidies, and much more. But it wasn't economically compatible with the prosperity of the american worker. You can only bend the economy to a certain extent. If you pay someone $80,000 a year to sew tshirts instead of the $1,000 in bangladesh, you have to save that money somewhere else or accept a general loss of wealth.

Factories don't require as many workers as they did a hundred years ago. Most processes are automated and a lot of the workers are skilled people who have had training to operate specialized machines or software to keep things running. And trust me dude, when one of those thirdie factories break down it's always an american or european or antipodean they fly in to fix them.

The problem is the lack of competition. An american factory can't sell shirts as cheaply as a bangladeshi one but with tariffs you can even the playing field. A lot of cynical people here are claiming that american made companies will jack up their prices to match the new ones of imported products but all it takes is one to undercut and everyone will follow suit

The important part is the American factory is a lot more expensive. No matter how you cut it, the thing will cost a lot more. This is a good thing because it’ll reduce demand for shirts across the board and thus lower carbon emissions. That means cuts in both American and Bangladeshi CO2 emissions. This really is the best way to ween the consumer class off of inexpensive products and services.

Jews want everybody to be poor as fuck.

USA will be done trough the tariffs.
EU will be done trough the green deal.

Thing is EU still need to do what US basically have already that's medium income and low income can't own property only high income and very rich people can own property everybody else will be pushed to renting. Once this is done we will move along and start removing even more whites since EU want's to prioritize migrants since they are dumb as hell and vote for whatever you told them to vote. Once EU is turned into absolute shithole like US where nowhere is safe but you unlike US you won't be allowed to have a weapon they start pushing you again against Russia (cuz we don't have resources, you are poor we need war blah blah blah) that will result to poor white class dying and finishing their mixed souless race class they will rule with 0 problems.

you're a retard if you thought so. the idea is to raise the price of foreign goods to make domestic goods competitive. It also has the added benefit of reducing frivolous consumption, but since we live in retarded 'line must go up all the time no matter what' land, we're pretty much fucked. The legion of retards will clamor to lower interest rates, end import duties permanently, and indulge themselves like lotus eating cunts on the last vestiges of American wealth. I lack the vocabulary to suitably describe just how low-down and subhuman the average American is.

If i should be honest with you I have no fucking idea we are playing 50/50 game.
Let's be honest here if people don't wake up EU is done. There is only one variable that decides this and that's if people are cooked enough(brainwashed) by propaganda to do nothing or they start tearing whole shit apart there is no in between system can't back up anymore they running out of time and resources.

>Also I heard rumors that the European Union is currently openly saying they won't receive packages from the US due to tariffs, is that true? An if so what would that mean?
It's partially a play because EU is controlled by one elite and the US by others. As what they trying to figure out by this hard to say. Play is basically that US want to pull Russia on their side and if they can manage then we are done which we are since EU is retarded in that case. Putin already promised mining operations using their tech to Americans if that's the start Europe is going to suck American's ass in full lenght. We will have no cheap resources, no cheap way to do anything and the last and worst thing would be turn to China which would be suicidal and trust me China counts on that fully.

Domestically produced products that were previously uncompetitive would simply disappear from the market. Or do you think they made losses for years until trump finally became president? The best one can hope for is that international companies will relocate their factories. But the tariffs are far too low for that. Not even our pharmaceutical industry plans to relocate factories from our high-wage country to the usa, even though we have received higher tariffs than most others.

I would say 5 years but that's a cope. Realistically probably like you said 2-3 years. We are talking done by economical means. This year then want to start pushing more green-deal crap at least here in Slovakia and let me tell you people who were perfectly fine in their homes will have hard times to stay afloat and we are talking about working class, new permits are going to steer chaos.

US blocks EU to make sure we collapse and as fast as possible if we do then it will be basically like before Western Europe under US, Central and East will go to Russia and China. It will be fucking chaos Slovakia doesn't have chance so it will be forced to split and go under other states.

>Don't the chinks work alongside the jews to reach World gov?
Yes but Europe needs to die or at least as it is in it's current image. Chinks want to profit more on Europe so they go along with whatever elites told them. I mean China supported DEI in America so you can make the image on your own where their goal is.

>Why would EU not want to trade with em?

In my opinion, the eu is part of the american empire. The chinks, on the other hand, are the coming empire. They were financed by the american empire, but that's normal in history. Holland financed britain, and britain financed the usa. The jews have always followed the capital and increased their power with every empire hopping. The only question for me is whether the chinks are part of the chain or an outlier like hitler's germany. If they don't let the jews in, we'll probably see war.

Ukraine was an attempt by the american empire to fulfill its long-held dream of exploiting russia. The result was vast amounts of wasted resources and driving russia into china's arms. The chinks have been quite clever in staying out of everything. Pakistan is the only place where one can even begin to speak of chinks' involvement. If the jews escalate because the chinks don't want to let them in, it will be with a big bang.

Well Ukraine is doing their job in making life hard great. To be fair that's why Europe is going to support Ukraine even more in fact USA is going to send weapons and we Europeans are going to pay for them so that's that and as for blown gas pipes yup it's just to make sure we don't get any Russian gas for cheap.

Yes as said before the main goal is to make sure that EU will collapse and Europeans will have insane living conditions at the end of the day.

>An the jews an their Good goyims aren't?
Yup they are but in all seriousness they let you know it and only if you are brainwashed you won't notice it. China doesn't have this type of problems they sell you sugar and later tell you that it was poison. Hungary could say few stories how their deals with Chinese battery factories turned out and how much damage on soil and water it did.
