I've been struggling with my weight for as long as I can remember. I hit 400lbs recently and have seriously begun to consider these GLP1 drugs. My relationship to food has been fucked since I was prepubescent, what the fuck kind of hope is there that I can turn it around through will alone? I've never been a healthy weight, I don't even know what it's like to move through life with a healthy body.
I don't want to take the pharma route because it's always a faustian bargain, but I'm nearly 30 now. I don't know there must be something in the insulin that screws with your skin because that Anon is correct. I did a crazy crash diet where I only ate 500 calories a day, lost 1lbs every day for two months and had no loose skin. These people do basically the same thing and somehow their skin is loose and saggy. The drug is the only X factor that could be influencing it.
