Well for one, that is not true. The central bank, is not considered a government agency. Despite it's closeness, its technically private and therefore more inline with "free market" then "socialism" let alone "communism" since its a private entity. For my second point, the EUs central banking has and is maintaining 2% inflation (consider the ideal amount) for a while now despite worse handling of the pandemic, and they are arguably more "centralized planning" then US. If you want to debate 2% inflation being a good thing rather than deflation we can as well, but to quickly summarize my points for that if capitalism good then 2% is good.
