spiral dynamics teaches that there will always be a pendulum swing of morality and its various degrees, but at the end of the day we are social animals that want to like other people that we exist around
in its figurative, entropy guarantees that we will become less insular over time, the primary goal being to live forever in some form or another (singularity of uploaded consciousness).
If we discovered a violent alien race, we would form a one-world coalition within the span of a week. Israel wouldn’t matter, Russia wouldn’t matter, none of our prior bullshit would be something we cared about anymore. You’d be shooting aliens next to niggers and jews and be happy you all made it through the day.
Good, then, is objectively whatever brings humanity together. If aliens attacked us, “Good” would be the wanton slaughter of the first intelligent race we encountered because they wanted to take our planet. “Good” would be the unification of all races and faiths to murder aliens. Bad would be anything that gives the aliens an advantage, like division and infighting.
