Been applying for 12 months now and roughly 900 application deep. Graduated with a bachlores in business management (3.22 gpa), a general associates degree (3.70 gpa), an internship at a multinational finance corp, completed Microsoft official 365 certifications, and even left university with 0 student loan debt and fully paid off car. Yet I'm not good enough to be a bank teller anywhere in the country, and considered "overqualified" to work at mcdonalds or safeway. The male student was having trouble getting a job. The female students let slip that all the job offerings were given at the SWE (Society of Women Engineers) conference. Girls were opening them on their phones on the plane back home after the conference. Boys never got job offers.

I don't know about him but I found out indirectly through some headhunters and some admissions folk. Even back in the day they had watchlists sponsored by the Feds, academia, and big companies. If you were on that list you weren't to be touched ever again. You would get blacklisted from entire industries utterly.
