He also goes off on endless tangents carried with needless comments on how men having sex with each other strengthen their community, which I assume are there for shock value. These tangents then turn into the whole lecture.

If you want lowbrown geopolitics and philosophy and history, you can actually get some interesting insight from american Whatifalthist, who actually reads books and has made quite a few very good insights that were proven correct despite his young age and unfinished degree.

I think he has a pretty objective view of history but sometimes veers off into total nonsense when predicting things. This isn’t exclusive to him, a few Asian guys I know are like this. Great with history, usually extremely wrong with predicting things. For example he thinks Trump will get a third term, no mention of the fact that Trump will likely be in terrible shape by the end of this term, or that he thinks Putin is still working with Trump for their mutual benefit

Welcome to reality. Dude is an average /pol/tard - not smart at all. He is literally just reciting one /pol/ meme after the other in his videos. All of his major claims and predictions about the situation in Iran have proven to be complete made up lies. The war ended quickly, Iran showed a lot of restraint and unambiguously demonstrated that it does not actually want a war.
So the guy's main cause of fame turned out to be complete unreliable bunk.
And you're right, even in his manner of speaking he doesn't come across as bright at all. Always bragging about having had graduated from Yale, doesn't really show.
