Also consider the power ratios
-----------------------------------
1 man with a gun = 1 power (P)
You would expect that 100 men with guns = 100P. However in a condition of disorganization, a rabble mob will work against itself. They will engage in petty disputes, petty rivalries, and interfere with each other's efforts, thus blunting their effectiveness. Therefore you might find 100 men only equates to around 50P. They are also easy to antagonize and subvert by a strong centrally organized enemy. Under those conditions 100 men might only equal 30P, or less.
In military history, we find that power scales *exponentially* with organization. The more organized you are, the more your power rises, by geometric magnitudes. Hence at the Battle of Watling street, 10,000 organized Romans were able to demolish an army of nearly 1 million rabble Britons, scarcely losing a man. Therefore with an organized force, 100 men = 10,000P, or even greater. Organization is SO POWERFUL, it's ridiculous. Tactics, drills, procedures, grand strategy. You need it.
This once again proves the superiority of the militia. These units are actually super powerful and super effective, a real threat against the Feds. Because they are well disciplined and well regulated, they can be afforded a much higher caliber of weaponry. Tanks, mines, RPG's, drones...etc
There are other benefits too.
-- A militia forms a hierarchy where young men can rise the ranks and prove themselves. These are your future generals in the resistance.
-- A militia forms a real "government in waiting" ready to step into power at a moment's notice.
No matter how you slice it, the militia is how you're actually going to resist the feds. A network of such militias across the Northeast would be able to effectively expel the feds from that region, if it should come to that.
All of your gun rights activism should be focuses on the militia. That is what the feds actually fear.
