The point was exactly that - to make a point.
The liberals fought to keep him in the USA, and bring him back after being deported, to make conservatives seem ineffectual.
The conservatives instead double-downed and sent his ass to an even worse place
Next the liberals will do what they always do when they fail- move on to the next thing, and memory hole him into non-existence.
In the end it sends a strong message to illegals to either self deport, or risk being sent to Africa
And let’s be honest - you really didn’t care for any actual answers, did you anon

This is all just Public relations for the dumb conservatives. Deporting all the illegals achieves nothing when you allow millions of "legals" into your country every year. Get rid of 100,000 Hispanics but import 1,000,000 Indians. Sure, that makes sense.

>Not immigrants fault
Its the effect of immigrants. Although to be honest, its the effect of population growth in general. If there were no immigrants but women were pushing out 4 kids each, there would also be a strain on housing and labor. Likely not as hard because local people can be better at negotiating, while immigrants can be taken advantage of (being paid less, working more hours in worse conditions, accept expensive housing of terrible quality) so the effects on wages and housing are worse with immigrants.
This is to say nothing about the cultural or social aspects, which is also important.
A kid being born in a country will go through the education system and an informal education of growing up and knowing the customs and culture. An uneducated immigrant would have the effect of a local citizen that was never in school and also never left his room. Unskilled and also knows nothing about how to behave in society. Like a 30 year old baby.
This is why in Dubai they hold the migrant laborers in camps, and only bus them to jobsites and back to the camp.

No, actually this was by design. Democrats are happy with this because they can say Trump will send migrants to an African gulag. Meanwhile it was his lawyers (paid for my Democrats) who petitioned against deportation to every country in latin america that would take him, knowing that African countries were the next stop. They used this guy to make him their next Jorge Floyd.

If only he took his lumps and accepted deportation to somewhere like Panama or Paraguay, he could literally have walked back to the USA when a Democrat returns to office. Now how the fuck is he going to even get out of Africa?

But, nepotism and cheap contractors (thanks Elon) make it difficult to move up when there's a wall of indians. Seriously considering a career change, at 45. I'm not going to try and convert you or anything, just going to give you my two cents.
The reason people become "racist" isn't out of a sense of hate, it's out of a sense of logic.
>"I am objectively being harmed by the influx of these people."
Forget that they're brown, forget about Indians, or blacks, or Jews, or anything.
Your life is being made worse.
Period.
What more is there to say? Personally, I wouldn't even call that racism. Democrats call it "racism" to scare you away from talking about it, but in reality what's happening is that there's a corporatist system of exploitation that favors replacing you with third-worlders.
You would ask for a living wage and self-respect, but Indians don't. So, they replace you with Indians. It's not about racism, it's about what's economically expedient for the system of exploitation.
Democrats take the same kinds of bribes Republicans do, it's just that Democrats make "moral" arguments about how you're a white piece of shit and you can't complain about having your life ruined or you're an evil racist.
Frankly, what is racism? The idea that some people are fundamentally better or worse depending on their race. Are you a racist because you don't want your wages suppressed by an influx of borderline slave labor from the third world?
Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, voting Democrat is obviously not in your logical best interests, because they want to ruin your life on behalf of their corporate donors who are better off suppressing your pay and phasing out your livelihood, and then call you an evil piece of shit for complaining about it.
At some point, it's pure self preservation. I don't think I'm genuinely racist either, but they're going to call me that no matter what just because I don't like how the American workforce is being actively replaced by serfs from abroad.
At some point, I just don't fucking care what they say. They're betraying me and making my life harder purely for the benefit of the rich. Fuck 'em.

Trump isn't just "enforcing the law," though, is he? He's trying to legislate by executive fiat. He's ignored roughly one full third of court judgments with respect to immigration and deportations, and he's potentially shielding people in the Epstein files from legal consequences -- well within the statute of limitations for some of these theoretical crimes -- while claiming to be the "law and order" president. This is a presidency of spectacle over results, because, despite it all, the actual deportation figures are still below those of Obama.

I'll ask you a question in response: how is ignoring court orders, especially with respect to universal human rights under which the case law is unambiguous, enforcing the law? At what point does "enforcing" the law become creating the law by executive fiat?
Anonymous (ID: aJ2UyzO3) Ireland No.514940716

You're ignoring all the fuckery by leftists, legacy media and other traitors who did their best to get him to stay.

You should expect some back and forth, as they argued every single little thing and tried to delay and oveturn things. If he'd gotten to stay in the US it would've sent a clear message: if you came from South America illegally, if you have gangbanger tattoos, if you don't bother to show up to court for your traffic violations, it's okay bro, you can stay! So anyone who just entered illegally (to pick fruit or whatever) will immediately feel more secure, because if a guy like Garcia can stay then why can't they?

What matters is the end result, deporting him to some African shithole after all the political football and meddling is a win at the end of the day. Ultimately we need to stop caring about whether they get deported to their home country or not, if their home country refuses to take them back; then just get rid of them by other means. And if Africa will take them, then dump them there.

People are missing the wider picture, they come to places like the US because they don't believe the law is being enforced, that they can just say fuck the process. These are the last people you want in your country. You have to deter them by rounding them up, collecting information like their picture, fingerprints and then getting rid of them (preferably thousands of miles away to send a message that this is what happens when you decide you don't care about the law).

Yes. WaPo is a reasonably trustworthy publication. When it says that it did the analysis of 337 cases and found that of the ones where the courts ruled against trump, he ignored, frustrated, or confounded 35% of them... I've got no reason to disbelieve them. What reason do they have to lie? You realize that reporters and a sequence of editors have to sign off on everything they publish, right?

I can understand why you feel the need to try to delegitimize all institutions (it's kind of the basis of everything you believe, no?) but if we care about correctness, it's reasonable to place SOME trust in institutions. We shouldn't believe them simply because they are institutions, but there's also little evidence suggesting that we should DISBELIEVE them... simply because they're institutions. Does that make sense.

Do you see how this is circular logic? You distrust them because they lie, and they lie because they've been lying for the past 10 years.

The sad part here is that I agree with you to some extent: the reason why there exists such a backlash to the traditional institutions is because, to some extent, they've given us reason to mistrust them. They've been politically motivated and they've absolutely gotten some things wrong. They've opened the door to the new epistemic rift by virtue of fucking up. Where we differ is that you seem to take this as evidence that everything the traditional media says is 100% incorrect and that we should therefore believe nothing (except, I'm assuming, what DJT says or what people say on Twitter and 4chan). I disagree. I think DJT has a demonstrably worse track record with the truth than the old institutions do, at the very least to the point where they aren't fully illegitimate.

Who said they weren't citizens, the claim was that they weren't born in the country. That still is a conflict of interest: an immigrant is ruling on a case of immigration. A fair judge would recuse themselves, a corrupt judge, not so much.

If a judge has citizenship, how is there a conflict of interest in judging cases where the defendant is an immigrant? There is precisely zero possibility of establishing a precedent which impacts them personally. I'm not sure you understand what a conflict of interest actually is. If a judge owns $100m in Microsoft stock and sits on the board, they have a conflict of interest when presiding over a case in which the future of Microsoft is at stake and they should recuse themselves.

Judges are human beings, and we're all seven handshakes removed from one another in the first place. They cannot adjudicate from a vacuum, and they arguably shouldn't.

Do you think the founders just put things in there in there for fun? Or do you think having giving a foreigner a piece of paper magically means they won't have any conflicts of interest? Do you understand that even in countries like China they tell you that if you want to keep your Chinese citizenship (for it to be valid) you can't have citizenship of other countries?

Do you not understand that those in your government that have both say an Israeli and an American citizenship that that means when it comes to things like adjudicating an Israeli or deciding foreign policy in the Middle East that there's a conflict of interest there. Or do you just seem to think conflict of interest is just about financial stuff? It seems to be what you're implying.

Glad you asked this. My entire baseline here is preserving our own rights. When immigrants are denied due process and can be spirited away in the middle of the night to El Salvador or Uganda without receiving due process, that doesn't happen in a vacuum -- it is a base case for erosion of rights we are all protected by. After all, if the government can detain you, put you on a plane, and deport you without so much as releasing your name... what protection do citizens have if the mechanism which establishes their citizenship is bypassed? It's a huge issue for all of us.

That sort of thing.

Part of me wonders what has changed to cause such a massive influx of people flooding into the U.S.? I mean migrant workers aren’t new but they mostly would stick to border areas and do day labor work before crossing back when it was done. The current situation with the border seems untenable due to the scale as well as the limited methods to both deport illegals and secure the border. If we could shrink the area that needs to be watched that would make things much easier.

I am arguing directly against your point by using the term you refuse to define and demonstrating exactly how it's wrong. A conflict of interest is a situation in which, because of one party's combination of asymmetric power and self-interest, they cannot be trusted to rule against their own interest and in the interest of the people. I have demonstrated exactly why naturalized citizen judges have no prima facie conflict of interest in dealing with noncitizen immigrants. Your only response was to zoom out and talk about some kind of immigrant conspiracy which, EVEN IF EXTANT, does not clear the hurdle of CoI with respect to anything. You, like everyone else, refuse to engage in good faith. That's on you, but if you want to keep posturing, I'll keep on replying until you either engage or fuck off kek

In Marbury, SCOTUS established judicial review as an implicit authority as the only possible logical outcome of the system the Framers created. While that sounds weak, the logic is not that the system "should" exist with judicial review but that the ONLY possible interpretation of the Constitution is that judicial review exists -- as there is literally no way for the judiciary to otherwise act as a check/balance on the other branches.

Literally ANY other interpretation is one which goes against the spirit and structure of the Constitution. If you want to go and read the majority opinion yourself, you absolutely should -- it's surprisingly accessible and argued primarily from first principles and is genuinely beautiful from a logical standpoint.

There's this idea in the Constitution (or maybe in the Federalist papers, can't remember) of the "tyranny of the majority." If you're unfamiliar with it, as a very short history lesson, our government was formed against abuses by both British parliament and the king. Britain's parliament was famously primitive -- a simple majority meant almost unbounded authority. What this resulted in was a seesaw effect whereby parties would trade off exerting absolute influence over one another's affairs.

While our system is anti-monarchic, its genesis against a parliamentary system is undersold.

What I'm saying here is that a simple majority, electing the executive, should not be able to bypass all our constitutional safeguards. Our system has been set up explicitly to avoid this dynamic whereby a simple majority can gain power and wield unlimited power.

I'm not just gesturing towards things -- I'm trying to DEMONSTRATE to you why we have the system we do and how its safeguards are being systematically dismantled.

Conflict of interest is not a grand, all-consuming shibboleth that, once established in one domain, overrides everything else. More to the point: the INDEPENDENCE of WaPo from Bezos' interests is what's at issue here, you brainless drone. Do you even remember what we've been talking about, or is this whole thing just a white-knuckled, post-by-post assault on what was said last?

We are talking about whether or not the WaPo article in rich 337 cases were evaluated (etc.) is... real, I guess? Not a complete and utter lie from root to tip?

You first tried to argue that judges have conflicts of interest because... all immigrants are in it together, or something. You started preaching the dogma and I tuned out a bit. But you seem to have conceded that point (after, hilariously, refusing to define "conflict of interest," despite continuing to use it) so I won't harp on it.

Then, you moved to talk about how WaPo itself can't be trusted because it's owned by Jeff Bezos. Here, you started preaching the dogma again and I tuned out because I don't care about your priors. You made some points about how it's in Bezos' interest for immigration to continue (it's in everyone's interest, for the record kek -- without immigrants we're in a demographic crisis here). Some of them were valid, but in the process of laying out your evidence, you never bothered to acknowledge evidence that JB doesn't actually have complete control over WaPo... and that his interests may be more primarily aligned with staying in the good graces of the administration. You had no response to this.

Here we are, at the end of a very obnoxious interaction. At no point have you bothered to use your own brain or your own words to advance so much as an acknowledgement of any points I made -- just a selective interaction with what you already "know" to be true. This has been very, very disappointing on multiple levels.

There is a conflict of interest there (I would benefit from having him at the company and I also stand to gain financially through a referral bonus). It divides the lower classes along arbitrary lines (look up MLK's Poor People's Campaign for direct evidence of both trans-racial cooperation along class lines and how power actually reacts) and prevents any movement from fully attaining broad power. Not sure if you're aware of this and don't care or just too deep, but there's a better way.

Your ideology excludes people who could otherwise help you accomplish your goals and ends up entrenching elite ownership and thereby reinforces all the conditions which arose to create you and your ideology in the first place.

All of this has been proven over and over again in the historical record. It is factual, not conjectural.

My man, you are STILL avoiding responding to me directly BECAUSE you need to leverage social/behavioral extraneous factors to preserve your distance and the sense/performance of the victory condition. It's fully transparent and, of course, just as dishonest as everything else you've been trying to "slide in." I see through it. If you think you've been talking to someone who doesn't see through every single thing you're doing... well, I don't know what to tell you.

So to recap the green id:
>tells us to just trust WaPo
>insists it must be at least somewhat trustworthy
>a clear conflict of interest with its owner is pointed out
>wants to play word games for several posts
>moves the goalposts to ridiculous levels (Bezos himself must write the articles!)
>calls the person obnoxious simply for pointing this out
>is upset he's not being given those sweet (you)s
Thanks for playing. Better luck next time.

I'm just gonna have to chalk this one up to the ±2 standard deviations rule. There was never going to be the possibility of discussion with someone as average in their thought as you are. You literally can't understand what I'm saying on the most basic, fundamental level. What a waste.

My point is that there's a better way to accomplish what you want.

Desperation sets in. You really should familiarise yourself with the board rules before trying to lecture other people, it's pretty embarrassing. I feel embarrassed for you. The repeated special pleading was particularly embarrassing.

I dont need to find a better way to do what I want. I just need to have fun, because I'll get it no matter what. Hitler told me

I feel embarrassed for myself, too. There was nothing I was ever going to be able to do to compel you to discuss anything in good faith. You know your strengths and you're going to stick to them -- defending your positions head-on is definitely not among them. Whatever. Any lurkers saw that I interacted with you in good faith from start to finish -- I laid out my reasoning and engaged with yours. That your style of proselytizing in poor faith might be nominally more board-friendly is a constraint I didn't choose and consciously refrain from using every day I post.

We're breaking the fourth wall here, and have been for a while. Just want to say that you and I both know that you're argumentation was specious and, while canny, canny in a very kind of low-cunning way. I have to believe that sustained engagement based on logic from first principles will take the board back from brainless retards like (You).

Been on 4chan since 2006, for the record -- so I mean it when I tell you that you're not doing anything surprising kek

Just be careful what you wish for. Unless you're planning on offing yourself, we're all gonna have to keep living in this world. I've spent a couple years at war. I know from personal experience how far the divide is from watching e.g. gore on the internet (been there, done that -- tried to desensitize myself pre deployment) is very different from stuffing chunks of people into body bags. We also tend to under-index on daily misery: being too cold for too long, not getting enough sleep, having not enough food and water and having to move regardless. You don't know what you don't know.

That's why you're not understanding the board sticky? You're not making any sense. I understand you're having 49ptid melty but this is embarrassing. All your accusations are confessions. I accept your concession. Maybe you'll keep it together in the next thread.

Still going with the ruse, huh? Even when you pose the victory posture you can't find it in yourself to act like a human being kek.
>melty
I have literally just explained to you in plain English exactly why I've been interacting with you. 4chan used to be more than just a dumping ground for longform Twitter posts. You chose to use social anonymity as a vector for some puerile dominance game (hehe you can't prove me wrong if i just refuse to be proven wrong or even engage with you!) and that's, well, really fucking stupid, but it's your solipsism, my dude. Once you've been around as long as I have, you'll be as bored with this whole posturing game as I am and maybe want to discuss something substantively. You might someday be grateful that people like me are actively trying to reclaim the ability to discuss things in a higher register.

Or maybe not.
