They're balls deep in debt for everything including car payments. Net worth ranking is switzerland 1 belgium 2 australia 3 the USA is like 40th behind greece or some shit. Why? Debt. I paid off my mortgage 15 years early, live 10 years like nobody would to live the next 50 years like nobody could. Americans wouldn't understand doing 29% credit card intrest payments. The jews own you, you take on debt as if jews designed you in a lab to be good goys.

>a lot of that wealth is fake and based on paying it off tomorrow.
That's the part I wonder about. A lot of these people driving around $80,000+ pickup trucks are probably barely able to make the payments on them. Are they actually going to be able to pay them off in 5 or 6 years? Will they attempt to trade it in with negative equity before that, just to keep driving a new truck? If they don't get substantial pay raises, that lifestyle unsustainable in the long term. I'm personally at the opposite end of the spectrum. I make ~$165k/year, and drive an 8 year old work truck that I paid $32k for in cash, and I'll likely drive it another 8 years or so because it's only got 100k miles on it. I can't understand the type of person that just sets money on fire buying cars every couple of years.

Many americans are just pure consumers who always want the latest and greatest. There are many who will do exactly that. Drive a truck for a few years, trade it in for the latest, get a new loan, rinse repeat. They view the 700-900 a month as just a permanent expense for their lifestyle that they just accept.

Buying an $80,000 Mercedes is a whole lot more stupid than buying an $80,000 pickup truck. Euros have an obsession with fancy-schmancy cars as status symbols, even though they have all the utilitarian value of a $15,000 stick-shift Fiat.

personal anecdote: 5 years ago, I was dumb enough to put myself into debt slavery in this way by ((financing)) a relatively "new" luxurious BMW SUV for the modest cost of around 10 grand.. it was also around the time that I also opened lines of credit and took out and additional 10 grand in loans.

Well fast forward to today, after serious self introspection when I tried to sell the POS and no one even wanted to give me the 10 grand back, they've since repo'd the POS and if they want their ther 10 grand theyre going to have to loan me 20.

Luckily I got a help from the gov who bought a share of my flat
>earn 22000 at the time

>got free boiler and insulation by begging schemes

Currently I get a month
basically £2000 before tax
£1710 after tax
My shared mortgage cheap £406 or so but rent in the same flat from me is £800
then I pay £120 in council tax which is bullshit
insurance is £30
power £100 avg
Fuel for me car 80 a month
I dont even pay for the car or insurance lol

working full time leaves me £240 a week to eat and live or £50 a day for myself per day worked

If I had to pay the car and insurance it be another 400 a month lol. Im off sick rn and if I lose my job or they try to take my flat I will make the news
