The problem is there are no requirements for owner operators getting their CDL other than passing the road test. He probably had little to no experience but his family has money they come here on work visas and buy semitrucks (80-150k) and do the simplest of otr which will be replaced by AI within 5-10 years they just drive in a straight line.
