The only real plausible theory i've seen suggested.

If Charlie was shot from the front of the throat, the exit wound ends up on the back of the neck and the bullet goes through the textile backing of the tent he's under; creating two points for a ballistic trajectory.

If he's shot from the crowd, the same story applies if it's directly to the throat. However, if the shot entered the torso then the bullet had to do some ping-pong bouncy castle shit on his ribcage and organs, and exited out the top of the collar bone and getting lodged into his throat/head.

But, if the shot really was from behind and on his right side, that would make the left side the exit wound, which explains the size of the hole and severity of bleeding. Lastly, assuming it is an EXIT wound, that means the bullet would not be found inside of the body. It would be on the ground, in fragments after impacting the hard surface of concrete.
