Rent
>be me
>work 10-12 hour shifts at my jobs
>parents yell at me to move out
>show them rent is 1300 in our city starting
>they don’t care and tell em to figure it out like some solvable math problem
>repeat next week
I am honestly considering quitting and calling it quits on society. It really offers me nothing all my friends drifted away after highschool and my ex girlfriend who we knew each other since we were five decided to find herself and by find herself she meant sleeping with random man and becoming a meth head and having two children by different fathers. I mean what’s out there for me? It’s all just so damn hopeless.

I understand your pain. Renting in the US seems fucking brutal. But what about just leaving the US and moving to another country? Lets say Asia. Start over. Fuck your parents. Start fresh

im not trying to be insensitive, but i kind of get the meth thing
i was seeing a woman and she started using it
and holy shit, the sex was without comparison
i totally sympathize with people who want to escape this shitty reality
and i honestly had some of the best times of my life with
someone who used it regularly
i no longer support teetotallers even though i personally dont like to get too fucked up

It is incredibly shit out there at the moment OP. I was only able to afford to leave home by sharing a flat with a friend. I’d say look into that as an option if you have friends in your area or maybe even if you don’t. It might be an opportunity to get to know people and it will halve your rent.
