You should be asking, if you *can* do any of that, then is society working as it should? And even then, if society is broken, why am I not planning for it? Why am I sitting by and not arming myself or living in a neighborhood where this is possible? Think of the infinite list of lazy little decisions that need to lead to that moment for it to happen.
So yes, if you rape and kill someone, they deserve it, obviously. If they didn't then why did it happen? Think of everyone that escapes a rapist or never has to deal with it because their country doesn't have immigrants. To say "you don't deserve it" it to argue a country with strong law enforcement and strong immigration laws isn't doing anything 'right' so much as has a difference in opinion.
