I'm a neet who was very fortunate in a bittersweet way. I dropped out in grade 10, worked shitty jobs, broke the whole time due to rent until covid, I've been a NEET since then. Partly due to not being able to find work again, and partly due to not seeing any options in society to train. NEET has a level of peace few will know but all strive for. I was on welfare neeting at 28 until parents died and I got a couple hundred K leaf pesos. Now I have to protect the wealth to pass on at least this much to the next in the family lineage, and if I don't do something then it will disappear to inflation. And now that I have the perspective of having some money and being forced to enter the business world, its only validated everything I thought previously about how predatory society is. I look at how others have answered the question and I can see shitty products exist all over the place for this purpose. Some make a shitty microwave and sell it for the same price as a real microwave. Some make goyslop food products and sell them for 50x markup. I'm younger than him but I've got kind of a similar story where I only worked in my 20's a little and would neet for long periods of time. If you are in similar boat, the struggle is worth it, I can't even go back to my parents house without feeling a sort of angry, haunted feeling. I lucked into a job I love but will tear me up in the long run so I am looking to develop more marketable skills.
