Technically your plane doesn't even need ADS-B installed if you never fly into controlled airspace, and you see that in some cases with bush pilots or people who have vintage airplanes based at uncontrolled airports or whatever, but most people do install it since it's pretty limiting not being able to fly into bigger cities etc.

Disclaimer that I might be a little off on specifics since I did PPL ground school 6 years ago and then covid killed flight school for me and I haven't been up since so stuff's getting hazy.

The bullet hitting Kirk and the sound of the shot are almost immediate. Sound travels at 342m per second and that round in particular travels at 900m/s. If the shooter on the roof really did hit Kirk from 200 meters away, then there should be 1/2 to 3/4 of a second delay between him getting hit, and the sound of the shot. There is not. The bullet would have hit before the first 1/4 second mark from leaving the barrel, and the shot would have been heard 1/2-3/4 second mark - so a 1/2 second delay between hit and sound.

The shot was taken from much closer, with a much smaller caliber, and from his back right. He lurched forward and then to the side because he was just from behind. The neck wound IS the exit wound.

This is like JFK Magic Bullet theory all over again. A .30-06 from the front would have left a massive exit wound behind him - it dam near would have decapitated him as well. His head and shoulders would have been thrown backwards, not forwards, the to the side.

Well prior to the Kennedy assassination, the CIA filled Dallas with multiple fake Oswalds in order to provide plausible deniability for Oswald being in Dallas that day.
