And by now you should know the bullet entered Kirk through his right upper neck and exited his lower left neck. That was an exit wound, not an entrance wound.

You can see his right ear get damaged and blood for a couple of frames in the video from the front. 30-06 seems an unlikely candidate since it would have done much more gruesome damage at that range, and a window would have broken behind him from overpenetration.
The aircraft identified by anons as the exfil vehicle also seems to be a key to identifying this 2nd shooter.

A neck shot choice by the true shooter also bears distinct peculiarities of mossad training to aim for the neck as a highly lethal point less mobile than the cranium.

It does also seem as though the wound on the front of his neck was the exit wound upon further examination of multiple angles.

I'm also wondering if the assassin's bullet in such a scenario was a frangible round to avoid noticeable, damning debris on the concrete from such a shot.
It could be possible the powdered remains left behind after striking the concrete could be quickly scattered by one of the 5th-column "security" at the event during the initial panic, destroying the evidence. If so, this would be approximately on the side of the venue that dude in the crowd stood up and shouted, hoping to draw any onlookers' gaze away from the point of impact per human instinct to look at active movement and humanoid figures.

He is right though, .30-06 deer rifle will pass through a normal bullet proof vest like it was Kleenex. For a bullet to deflect or change direction it would have to hit something hard, and vests that you wear under a shirt are soft layered kevlar and other soft fabric. A vest will catch and disperse the energy of a bullet, never deflect it, or it will be penetrated like tissue paper if its a rifle round.

The only thing that would deflect a rifle round is an AR500 plate, they weigh almost 10 pounds and are 3/8" thick. Behind the plate is a trauma pad. Charlie was wearing nothing of the sort as they are used in active combat and are too heavy/awkward for day to day celebrity protection.

Multi angle analysis. Somebody needs to get a look at that window. This is the perfect location. Indoors, away from view. The booth/kiosk provides more cover. A few accomplices or some other obstruction behind it would give total concealment. Matches up PERFECTLY with the flash location. I don't think the flash could be a reflection from a rooftop shooter because would be blocked by the people standing on the stairwell.
