leftism has been ascribed varying flavors going from somewhat ordinary to absolutely heinous. This distracts away from the commonalities, the most basic of which is conflating the cause of societal issues with concepts that keep society stable, unerringly resulting in the demands that things that foster a good and wholesome society be abolished. at bare minimum leftism is a destructive force.
>b-but rightists do the same thing just the opposite saying things that are deleterious need to be upheld because reasons
yea they are idiots too. But, at least those idiots think they hold onto those straws in the interest of what is good and wholesome. leftism, however, at its most basic level, starts off in opposition, it can do nothing but be adversarial, it will always oppose what ever the current thing is. just as rightists will always oppose any change to current thing. neither having any bearing on what is truly right and what is truly wrong. upon which enters why leftism is entirely wrong: from the outset it is denied that there must be an objective right and an objective wrong, but rather that all things are subjective. Subjectivity is the beginning of all bullshit, it replaces "could I be wrong about this" with "they must be wrong about this" and therein breeds the echo chamber.
>b-but I only really care about economics
Which belies the other issue with this. there is much more to life than money. the idea that "we cant have a good life without access to more money" makes one no different than the rich whom they lambast. and in truth money has no bearing on good nor evil. How then can any policy regarding it result in good?
So then leftism, in regards to money, is neither good nor evil, but look at the abject filth that breeds in its hallways.
