Here's low iq take: those things do look like pralines though.
I worked this job and usually we got everything for a specific isle on one rolley. We were from a sub company meaning the employees of the supermarket were above us.
Since we were considered the guys for the tougher stuff we were almost never given the easy stuff like putting cosmetics of frozen stuff into the fridges or shelves.
We also didn't add those price tags if we saw a new product or didn't find its place. We'd have to call the supermarket wagie to check it in their system who then would find a place and print a tag.
Meaning the posssibility that we'd put ice cream on the shelf would never exist even though our wagies were considered the low IQ low status in the supermarket hierarchy. The processes would handle everything.
tldr my guess is that the processes failed here not the wagie
