It's non-ionizing.
It can only vibrate the water molecules in your body and heat up your tissues.
However 5G uses higher frequencies (millimeter wave) therefore the EM wave can't penetrate as deep as the microwaves.
Also radiation power is low making it a nothingburger in total.

It actually is a surveillance grid though. They use Wi-Fi to create a 3D image of your house and any movement within it. It’s not even hidden, companies are advertising it as a security option for their customers.
