I used to love movies. Every year, I'd watch at least a hundred of the new releases for that year, mostly at home, but around a dozen in theaters each year. These last few years I've dropped won to maybe 50 total for the year, with only a few in theaters. The Academy Awards films are crap compared to what we used to get decades ago. So I really don't care if AI shakes up the industry. I'd like to see more people with different viewpoints outside of the Hollywood bubble be able to make their own movies.

I'm a film editor. So much time and energy gets wasted on bullshit that the producers want included or removed from films to satiate their special interests. Honestly we have a solid cut of the film pretty early on in the process usually, and the rest of the time is didn't spent making sure China will like it, or the retard test audiences will like it better than last time based on their retarded feedback, or the shady rich fuck that secretly funded half the movie gets his shady virtues signaled the way he wants.

I have yet to see AI get even close to producing any content (in any form) that actually adheres to all the parameters you give it.

As long as the shitty studio heads remain shitty humans, I don't think AI will be able to meet their expectations.
