Honestly, every JW I've ever come across feels like they're trying to convince themselves more than everyone else. A few decades ago it was easier for elders to keep the community isolated, in the modern world it's impossible to keep members from coming across the truth about the false prophesies.

After that it's just a question of what the particular JW values more: their faith, or their family, friends, and community. Accept the lies, or get disfellowshipped. There are four categories that were known as since the 18th century and still exist in modern genetics under euphemisms. Through archeology and through historical documents and artifects. I could also claim nothing exists. I'm the only living being. This wouldn't prove your religion either.
